3092568 - "The requested operation is not available" Error When Creating a Goal - Goal Management

"The requested operation is not available" error is being thrown when creating/adding a new goal.

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management

1. Open the impacted Goal Plan
2. Select the "Add Goal" button

The following exception error is thrown:

The field type defined for the "comments" field is invalid i.e. the supported field type is "comment", not text or textarea.

Note: The following requires Provisioning access. Please reach out to your Implementation Partner for assistance

1. Go to Provisioning
2. Export the Goal Plan xml template
3. Correct the field type defined for the "comments" field

The correct field type should be "comment" instead of "textarea":

4. Save edited template and import it
