Symptom

  • Try to connect to IBP system through DP agent configuration tool: agentcli.bat/agentcli.sh
  • Error: "Failed to connect to server SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc:sap://hanahost:443 [Object is closed: com.sap.db.jdbc.SecureChannelSession@1834bbe8 hanahost :443 ConnectionID:0 SessionID:0 on sun.nio.ch.WindowsAsynchronousSocketChannelImpl[connected local=/0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:55596 remote=hanahost /ipaddress:443]]. Context: com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.JDBCDriverException: SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc:sap://hanahost:443 [Object is closed: com.sap.db.jdbc.SecureChannelSession@1834bbe8 hanahost :443 ConnectionID:0 SessionID:0 on sun.nio.ch.WindowsAsynchronousSocketChannelImpl[connected local=/0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:55596 remote=hanahost/ipaddress:443]]."
    Ensure that the IP address of the agent host is allowlisted in SAP HANA system
