3093099 - SAP IQ 16.1 is using excessive temp space IQ_SYSTEM_TEMP - SAP IQ

Symptom

Queries that where running using a "normal" amount of temp space are now requires an extraordinary amount of tempdb.  For example:

  • IQ_SYSTEM_TEMP space is used by a specific stored procedure / query was  about 10MB of temp space usage, now even if 200GB is added to IQ system temp, it is using up all space.
  • How can I find root cause?
