Symptom
When accessing the Job Profile tab in the Job Requisition, the user is unable to update the Job Profile sections and receive an error "User does not have permission to perform this action".
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Recruiting
- Navigate to a Job Requisition
- Click on the Job Profile tab
- See that the sections are not editable, and that the message displays "User does not have permission to perform this action".
Cause
The user doesn't have the permission to read or write on the field listingLayout in the Job Requisition Template.
Resolution
As described in the implementation guide, Integrating Recruiting with Job Profile Builder for Job Requisitions, to have access to the Job Profile tab, it will require the permission to read or write on listingLayout field. Without this permission, it won't be possible to read or write on it.
To fix this, it will be required to update the job requisitions' permissions in the template. That can be done through Manage Templates, and the instructions to do it are in this KBA: 2644504 - Updating permissions via Manage Templates Feature - Recruiting Management.
