3093265 - Accrual Errors When Running SSCUI102713 or Creating Purchase Orders

With CE2108 release, there are error messages as below when running the SSCUI 102713 - Check Customizing Settings for Purchase Order Accruals.

Message no. ACEC_S4057 "Plnd cost item type & with key POAC/&/&/& doesn't exist in crcy type settings."
Message no. ACEC_S4058 "Actual cost item type & with key POAC/&/&/& doesn't exist in crcy type settings."
Message no. ACEC_S4006 "Create an entry with crcy type & for POAC/&/&/&(a combination of keys)."

Or purchase order can’t be saved with an error message ‘Failed to create or save changes to the accrual object’.

2. See the message text

The issue is caused by leading ledger switch.
If leading ledger is switched from 0L to another ledger for example 2L, then in the below scenarios, you need to activate the 2L and inactivate 0L.

1. Error messages when running SSCUI 102713 - Check Customizing Settings for Purchase Order Accruals and you want to eliminate the error messages.
2. If you have activated the deferrals scenario by assigning the transfer variant SDRF to certain company code in SSCUI 102505 - Define Accrual Item Types and Methods for MM Purchase Order Items. Then you will get an error message ‘Failed to create or save changes to the accrual object’ when save purchase orders to the company code.

In our example, you need to activate leading ledger 2L and inactivate 0L to avoid the error.
Set 0L inactivated and 2L activated for item types: SACCRL, SCSTPLN, SCSTACT, SACCRL_D, SDFRL in SSCUI 102501 - Define Accrual Item Types.
