• Is it possible to use the Candidate Source as part of a condition in a business rule?
• Is it possible to change the value of Candidate Source through business rules?

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

As of now the system doesn't allow you to manipulate the candidate source through business rule. For scenarios where it may be required to set a value to Candidate Source through Business Rules is not possible since this field is not updatable as it is automatically filled by the system depending on where the candidate has applied from (e.g. LinkedIn, from RMK site, from a job board, from the RCM career site...). In regards it being part of the IF condition, the same applies: the field's values being variable, it may be hard to keep track on which scenario the rule may be triggered or be fall under the criteria designed.
