3094184 - MMPV_DATE_CHECK in S/4HANA Cloud

You need to run MMPV (Close Period for Product Master).  You want to prevent shifting to a future period by mistake (for example, a common mistake is running MMPV twice at the beginning of a month).

S/4HANA Cloud - All versions.

1. Close Period for Product Master app

2. Try to close the period.

3. Error message shows up.

The function is provided in the system for a long time ago. The purpose is to prevent incorrect period shifting which could lead to huge business impact.

The default date is set to 10 days, and this setting didn't change since beginning.

In S/4HANA Cloud it is not supported to open the next period in advance (more than 10 days before actual period beginning).
