3094192 - Error message FINS_ML_START013 in S/4HANA Public Cloud App F4622 (Schedule Accounting Data Changes)

Error FINS_ML_START013 in App F4622 Schedule Accounting Data Changes "Material stock (company code XXXX) must be booked out in last two MM periods."

S/4HANA Cloud - All versions.

1. Enter App F4622 Schedule Accounting Data Changes and execute (Transactional Material Ledger and Actual Costing data will be deleted).

2. Error message FINS_ML_START013 appears. 

Error FINS_ML_START013 in app F4622 Schedule Accounting Data Changes arises if there is still stock in the current and previous period.

1. Book out inventory via Goods Movement app first with posting date of previous period. Booking out means that stock quantity and stock value shall become zero.

2. Then, as next step, book out remaining inventory via Goods Movement app first with posting date of current period.

The best option is to use movement types which correspond to goods issues from stock with transaction code MIGO (for example post mvt type 562).

Clearing all stocks in previous and current period is mandatory to follow this approach. The transaction OBR1 cannot be used as long as there are logistics data in the system.
