3094609 - Wrong approver determined in shopping cart approval process

Wrong approver DEF (DEF represents for the approver user ID) determined in shopping cart approval process.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Home Work Center.
2. Go to Self-Services Overview.
3. Open the concerned shoppong cart.
4. The shopping cart is supposed to go to project manger for approval.
5. However the approver is determined as user DEF instead of project manager.

You have planned the substitute in the project for the project manager, hence user DEF has the approval right on behalf of project manager.

Please check the settings via following steps:

1. Go to Project Management Wor Center.
2. Go to Projects View.
3. Select the concerned Project from OWL.
4. Click on button Edit -> Team and Staffing.
5. Maintain Project screen opens.
6. You can find the check box Substitute is selected for user DEF.

System is working as expected.
