3095303 - Error "Check amount entered (Amount is too high)" AA317 in asset settlement - S/4HANA CLOUD

When posting transfer transactions like settlement error message "Check amount entered (Amount is too high) - AA317" is displayed. The symptom may also happen in various asset accounting transactions relating to retirement.

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1.  Enter App 'Execute Settlement for AuC'
2. Add Company code, Asset number
3. Click Simulate
4. Error: "Check amount entered (Amount is too high) - AA317" raised

Settlement has multiple line items with different amounts, however the higher amount has been reversed. All the line items are posted at once, without grouping.

To avoid the error group the same amounts and execute prior the lower amount.
