3095410 - Edit standard Asset Classes in SSCUI - S/4HANA CLOUD

Symptom

Upon entering Edit mode in the configuration step 'Define Asset Class' the fields by the pre-delivered Asset classes are still greyed out.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enter your configuration system, Manage Your Solution or CBC.
  2. Enter configuration step 'Define Asset Class'
  3. Enter Edit mode

Cause

 The pre-delivered Asset classes cannot be changed.

Resolution

To change the default values of Asset classes, a new Asset class (starting with Z*) must be created as copy, then the fields are editable.
