3095440 - Unexpected Business Roles by SAP in the System: SAP_SALES_REP, SAP_SERVICE_AGENT, SAP_SERVICE_MANAGER, SAP_REX

Symptom

You see unexpected business roles in your system, created by SAP.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Administrator work center.
  2. Go to the General Settings work center view. 
  3. Click on Business Roles link.
  4. You see the following business roles:

  • SAP_SALES_REP

  • SAP_SERVICE_AGENT

  • SAP_SERVICE_MANAGER

  • SAP_REX

All of those are created by SAP and have the last Changed by SAP. 

In the business roles view, the option to edit, delete as well as 'Actions' are grayed out.

Cause

If you experienced the onboarding process you will see these (or some of these) pre-delivered Business Roles in your system.

Resolution

This is the expected system behaviour if you went through the onboarding process.
