Symptom

  • 2021-09-09 15:50:53,935 [DEBUG] ABAPAdapter | ABAPAdapter$3.serverStateChangeOccurred - JCoServer state change for server "*:3201:IM_HANA_ABAPADAPTER_*_*". Old state : STOPPED". new state : STARTED
  • 2021-09-09 15:50:55,808 [DEBUG] ABAPAdapter | ABAPAdapter$2.serverExceptionOccurred - JCoServer exception for server "*:3201:IM_HANA_ABAPADAPTER_*_*". The exception : com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (129) JCO_ERROR_SERVER_STARTUP: Server startup failed at Thu Sep 09 15:50:55 AWST 2021.
    This is caused by either a) an erroneous server configuration, b) the backend system has been shutdown, or c) network problems. The next startup attempt will be done in 1 second.
    Failed to register JCoServer connection: Connect to SAP gateway failed
    Connection parameters: PROGID=IM_HANA_ABAPADAPTER_*_* GWHOST=<hostname> GWSERV=3201
    no SAP ErrInfo available

  • 2021-09-09 15:50:55,838 [ERROR] ABAPAdapter | ABAPAdapter.startJCoServer - JCoServer instance unexpectedly stopped when requested to start. Thus streaming method of reading tables from ECC will not be available. The dialog mode will be used instead.
