3096603 - Job Specific Information and Pre-screening Questions Are Not Visible on the Application Page


When completing an application for a job requisition, the job specific information section and all application fields are not visible. Pre-screening questions from the job requisition are also not visible as a result.

Reproducing the Issue

Pre-screening questions do not appear if no applications fields permissions as "read" to the candidate when mobile apply is enabled.

There are no application fields permissions to the candidate or field definitions are incorrectly defined as public="false", therefore there is no information to display as part of Job Specific Information on the application


  • In order for the Job Specific Information to display, there must be at least one field (could be an instruction field) which is defined as public="true" and permissioned to be visible to the candidate
  • Once the Job-Specific information section is displayed, the candidate pre-screening questions will become visible along with the application field

2H 2021 and 1H 2022 Fix:

  • Product Engineering has provided a fix so that pre-screening questions will be displayed even when no application fields are permissioned as "read" to candidates when Mobile Apply is being used which will be in 1H 2022 (RCM-103182)
  • This behavior change is also included in patch b2111p14 (19-Jan-22) for 2H 2021
    • The patch will be applied to Preview / Test instances January 19, 2022
    • The patch will be applied to Production instances January 21, 2022
