3096605 - Capturing Hire Date while on Global Assignment

You are trying to capture Hire Date (Employment) of an employee who is currently on Global Assignment in Document Generation.

You have created a template and mapping to capture the Hire Date from employment details. When generating the document, the Global Assignment date is being is being generated instead.

Document generation tool is only able to retrieve the current active record. Since the user is on Global Assignment, the template will be only able to pull the active, Global Assignment date.

Currently this is expected behavior. Please feel free to submit an enhancement request.
