3098236 - Unable to change the investment profile in Project Control app

Symptom

When trying to change the Investment profile in Project Control app, error message AY080 is raised:

WBS element xxxxxxxx: AuCs exist for capital investment profile XXXXXXX.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to project control.
  2. Select the project and click edit.
  3. Try to change the Investment Profile.

Resolution

In order to change the Investment Profile do the following:

  1. Remove the investment profile.
  2. Save the project.
  3. Change the investment profile to the desired Investment Profile.
  4. Save.
