Unable to download financial statements to Excel form, only PDF file is available in app Balance Sheet/Income Statement.

1. Run app Balance Sheet / Income Statement
2. Input parameters via the filter bar and click Go
3. Only "Export to PDF" button is available

The F0708 Balance Sheet/Income Statement app mentioned is an outdated Fiori app, and there are no plans for further investment in it.

Currently, the Excel export is available through the Balance Sheet/Income Statement - Multidimensional app. 

Financial Statements Review Booklet (App ID: F8587) was introduced in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2508,and it provides the capability to export financial statements to PDF and Microsoft Excel.
