3098881 - Exception when creating "ServiceRequestEmailNotification" BAdI

Symptom

You want to use the Enhancement Option "ServiceRequestEmailNotification" but there is an HTTP 500 (InternalServerError) raised when you create it.

Cause

This enhancement option is deprecated. Please be informed this enhancement option is not to be used in partner environment.

Resolution

E-mail notifications can be sent as part of a variety of business processes. For example, to send a survey link to customers upon completion of tickets or create/change notifications to one or more recipients. The triggering event for sending e-mail notifications can vary depending on the supported business process. This can be achieved via., standard workflow feature.

Please do not use this enhancement option in partner environment. Instead consider using workflow rule in Administrator work center. The e-mail notification rule can be maintained in the system via the Administrator work center.
