This KBA will document the action plan items for the issues related to the network. Network troubleshooting is a big topic, and it is not possible to put everything into this KBA. As a result, this KBA will not provide the solutions for all the network issues, but it will provide a general idea and action plan items to analyze and solve the network issues (e.g. the issue in the following table).
Category | Example |
One single network error related to one single connection | E.g. SI_ECONN_REFUSE(Windows 10060, Linux 110), SI_ECONN_BROKEN/(Windows 10054, Linux 104) |
Network performance issue which might affect multiple connections | E.g. the performance issue caused by packet loss and retransmission |
Some network issues related to the application layer | E.g. the max connections reached in different kernel components |
This KBA also collects the general information for the frequently-used network-related tools on the "See Also" part.
*** The image/data/IP/port in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental. ***
