Symptom

Option to hide child product in sales quote is not available.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

Prerequisite: Product used in sales quote has product hierarchy with child products.

  1. Go to Sales Work center.
  2. Go to Sales Quotes work center view.
  3. Search and open a sales quote.
  4. Go to product facet.
  5. First row is the parent product and subsequent rows in product are child products.
  6. Go to adaptation mode.
  7. Parent Product can be hidden, however option to hide child product is missing.

Cause

Feasibility to hide child product does not exist in existing product. Hence the option to hide Child Product in Sales Quote in adaptation is not available.

Resolution

Child product cannot be hidden using adaptation mode. This is current and expected behaviour.
