3100486 - Error - After initiating onboarding from RCM, Candidates are not appearing in onboarding dashboard - Onboarding

• After initiating Onboarding for a candidate from RCM, the candidate is not appearing in the Onboarding dashboard.
• Error message "The User ID you provided is already in use. Please select another User ID." found in server log.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Log into the application as a Recruiting user.
2. Go to the Job Requisition dashboard of your Recruiting instance.
3. Initiate Onboarding process for the candidate. 
4. Log into the application as an Onboarding user
5. Candidate is not appearing in Onboarding Dashboard.

• The issue is caused due to the user creation being processed concurrently for two or more new hires.
• This could happen when a high volume of hires are processed by multiple users at the same time.

1. Log into Onboarding application
2. Trigger the failed process tasks from “BPE: Manage Process Tasks” page. See Knowledge - How to restart tasks through BPE - Onboarding | HCSM (services.sap)

To avoid this issue in future please select “Enable Database Sequence to generate next Employee Id” from “Company System and Logo Settings” page

1. Log into Company Instance
2. Go to the Admin Center  Company Settings.
3. Select Company System Setting.
4. Select Enable Database Sequence to generate next Employee Id to change the process of how employee IDs are generated.
