3100494 - An error occurred while saving the concurrent employment - SAP Employee Central

When trying to create add a concurrent employment for an employee following error occur: 

"An error occurred while saving the concurrent employment"

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Concurrent Employment/Global Assignment
• Position Management

The position select for this concurrent employment is parent position for current employee position, which means that employee will be own manager which is not allowed.

Select a different position during concurrent employment creation and make sure the selected position is not employees higher-level position, you can check that by:

1. Going to Position Org Chart
2. Search for the current user position
3. The position you trying to assign on concurrent employment cannot be above current employee position.
