3100705 - Error in the reporting of BT Catalog Usage/Adoption stats from SAC 2021.19.0

When using SAC tracking activity with Content Link objects the following behaviour is shown:

Link is open from a Card in the catalog, it does not appear in usage tracking, neither in Security/Activities nor in the "SAC Content Usage" story (SAP Analytics Cloud Tracking Content)

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC 2021.19.0)

To reproduce:

1. In SAC -> Files create a new item of type Content Link. Set the link to any external XLS file or other document. Give it a name, in my example in screenshots I named it "Webi doc"
2. Share this content to catalog, a card will be created with this link in the catalog
3. From Files: open this content
4. Check in Security/Activities, filter by current user and file name Web doc.  The activity Read for this content is correctly recorded and displayed.
5. Open the "SAP Content Usage" and go to page Session Information, then Table Activities Per Session: the activity Read of object "Webi doc" is also recorded here.
6. Now go to catalog, in the card you created click "Open" button to open the link and the referenced document
7. Go back to  Security/Activities, there is no trace of this action. 
8. Go to the "SAP Content Usage" story again, there is no trace of this action here too.
