3101356 - How to Change the Default Time Type When Creating a Leave Request

When creating a leave request, the system automatically defaults to a specific Time Type. However, you would like to change this default selection to another time type that better suits your process.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Self Services work center.

2. Select Create Leave Request.

3. On the next screen, notice that a specific Time Type is automatically selected by the system.

The default Time Type selected during leave request creation is determined by the configuration in Activity Default Values for Time Recording.

To change the default Time Type for leave requests, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Business Configuration > First Implementation Projects.

2. Select the activity Default Values for Time Recording.

3. Within this activity, update the Default Value specifically for Leave Request.

This will change the system’s default Time Type when creating a leave request.
