3103041 - Description Is Grayed Out In Project

The description in project is grayed out and it is not possible to do changes.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Project Management work center.
2. Go to the Projects view.
3. Filter for All Projects.
4. Search for ABC and open it (ABC represents the Project ID).

You see that the status is Closed and the Description is grayed out. You are not able to do any changes.

It is not possible to change the description because the project status is Closed.

 To be able to do any changes in the description, please follow the steps bellow:

1. Open the Project ABC.
2. Change the status from Closed to Revoke Closure.
3. Change the status from Completed to revoke Completion.
4. Change the description.
5. Change the status from Released to Complete and Close.
6. Save the project.
