Symptom
While changing an already existing audit or creating a new audit using a template in transaction PLMD_AUDIT, following error is raised:
PLM_AUDIT026 - The object is not sufficiently defined for audit type &1.
"Short Text
The object is not sufficiently defined for audit type &1
Diagnosis
The number of input fields for the audit object does not correspond to the definition of the input fields in Customizing for the audit type .
This can occur as a result of a change to the Customizing settings for the audit type, after the audit has been created.
System Response
The system recognizes the inconsistency in the data for the audit object. However, you can still save your data.
Procedure
First, select another audit type. The data for the audit object is then initialized by the system. The data you have previously entered the audit object is lost during this process. Then, select the initial audit type that you had selected again. The system then transfers the necessary input fields from the current Customizing settings for the audit type.
If the problem persists, contact your system administrators."
Also message PLM_AUDIT025 - Enter object can be observed.
