You included the question "Do you want to influence the Progress status for an Opportunity based on an assigned activity?" in your business configuration project and you would like to know how the field Days in Sales Phase behaves with the new setting. You notice that Days in Sales Phase is reset to zero once a new activity gets assigned to an Opportunity.

When using the above scoping question, you should understand the field "Days in Sales Phase" as "Days in Sales Phase without a new activity added". The goal of this feature is to offer an option to get an opportunity back "On Track" by simply adding an activity and not requiring a change of Sales Phase. As opportunity progress will also be controlled by the Days in Sales Phase configured in fine-tuning, you should consider that with the active scoping above, the Days in Sales Phase will reset to zero if an activity gets assigned to the Opportunity.
