3104893 - Delete and recreate ESH connectors after some specific messages in the consistency check or when performing an indexing process

Symptom

Issue was firstly identified with a Solman connector (SMUD_ELEMENT), but the same might happen with any other connector belonging to any other Software Component (SWC).

Firstly the search does not working in SOLDOC and then customer receives the following message in there:

  • user is not authorized;table or view name = ESH:<SID><client number>~<SID><client number>~SMUD_ELEMENT~~DEFAULT/[REQUEST Info: Object Name = "CUST_USER_ROLE_ADMIN"."ESH:<SID><client number>~<SID><client number>~SMUD_ELEMENT";

In the consistency check we are able to see (either in ESH_COCKPIT or in ESH_TEST_SEARCH under transaction code SE38):

  • Database table ESH:<SID><client number>~<SID><client number>~AI_CM_BUS2000116%%36F30E39 could not be created
    HANA call terminated with HANA engine error. Error code: 2007
    Error message: invalid table name ESH:<SID><client number>~<SID><client number>~AI_CM_BUS2000116%%36F30E39: line 1 col 73 (at pos 72)
    Authorization indexing unsuccessful for object type USER_AUTHORITY
    Indexing ended with error
