3105263 - "Library Directed Search" direct link - missing banner

When opening a "Library Directed Search" direct link, where this is filtered based on the category, the banner is not displayed.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

In the Learning admin side, click:

1. System Administration > System Management Tools > Direct Link Type > Library Directed Search >
   
   
2. Category > Select the desired one > Display Link >
   
   
3. Now, as a Learning user, open the just generated link and it will be possible to notice the category banner is not displayed.

The "Library Directed Search" direct link replicates the process of doing a search function with the selected filters (and combination of), but the subject area banner only appears when the Learning user browses using the "Browse by Categories" menu. When you browse by category, you see the banner. When you open the library via the direct link, the banner is not displayed. This is working as designed.

Alternatively, to have a different system behavior, it would be possible to have an enhancement request (KBA 2090228) created for it, where the Learning Product Management team can further review and assess the requested functionality to be considered in a future release.
