3105332 - When Logging in Arabic Language, Calendar Shows Hijri Months Instead of Gregorian Months Translated to Arabic

Symptom

When you login to the tenant using Arabic language then navigate to Calendar view and open the date picker, you see the months displayed as Hijri months; you expected it to be shown as Gregorian months but translated to Arabic language.

Environment

 SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login in Arabic language.

  2. In the right menu select the option التقويم.

  3. In the calendar, click in the date picker.

 You see the months displayed as Hijri instead of Gregorian, as screenshot below shows, in the highlighted purple square.

Cause

C4C Calendar uses a third party library for rendering - when logged in using Arabic language, Hijri months are shown by default and there's no way to configure it differently, currently.

Resolution

This feature is not supported in the current release of SAP Cloud for Customer.
