3105369 - Upload of Target Group via Excel is Generating a 500 SAP Internal Service Error

You are trying to upload a new Target Group using the Microsoft Excel with a high number of records and when trying to perform such, the system returns the 500 Error or it does not conclude the execution leading to timeout.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Marketing work center.
2. Select the Target Groups view.
3. Click New.
4. Select Target Group from Microsoft Excel.
5. Enter the expected master data.
6. Click Save data to.
7. System returns:
   Error: 500 SAP Internal Service Error
   Or
   The execution does not conclude and times out

At the moment, it is recommended to create Target Groups with no more than 5000 records, so as to avoid system inconsistencies and allow a better performance.

Also, currently it is not supported the update use case through excel upload.

This is the current system behavior.

In case you require to upload a Target Group with more than 5000 records, please use the A2X service available in the through the following:

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Select the Service Explorer view.
3. Search for ManageTargetGroupIn.
