3106170 - SAP Cloud ALM: Register error while adding private Cloud hosted ABAP systems (S/4HANA, Business Suite, SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP systems)

Symptom

Error when trying to register S/4HANA, Business Suite, or SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP systems (incl. SAP BW/4HANA) hosted by ECS (previous HEC) to SAP Cloud ALM via /N/SDF/ALM_SETUP:

    • Direct Connect to <host>.authentication.<data center>.hana.ondemand.com:443 failed: NIECONN_REFUSED(-10)
    • OTR-Based Exception of Class: /SDF/CX_CALM_CONNECTO
    • Proxy connect to proxy:3128 failed: NIECONN_REFUSED(-10)
