When trying to close the investment project error message 'CJ824 - Error when processing asset under construction (AuC) for WBS element' raised.

The root cause is that the settlement date is later than the closing date (todays date).

The settlement date cannot be later than todays date, when closing the project the system will add deactivation date to the Assets, which cannot be earlier than the capitalization date.

Change the settlement date to todays date or shift your project closure to the originally maintained settlement date.
