3107397 - Career Path shows an incorrect number of competencies

• System shows an incorrect number of mapped competencies to roles
• Career Path shows higher number than the actual number of competencies

SAP SuccessFactors Career Development Planning

1. Go to Development Module.
2. Go to Career Path.
3. Select Job Role path.
4. Most of the role has 2 competencies, but Career path shows 4 in the Competency icon.
5. If you check Manage Job profile content you can see that the profile only has 2 competencies.

Career path will show total number of mapped competencies and behaviors for the job role.

Check Manage Job Profile Content to confirm number of competencies and behaviors for the role. If Role has mapped competency with behaviors, then count of Competency in Career Path will include both mapped competencies and behaviors. 

Workaround

As a workaround, to avoid the confusion we have change of the text with the help of Manage Languages.
