Symptom

  • Connection to Business Objects from Fiori is not working as users are trying to go from a HTTPS URL to a HTTP one on the Business Objects side. Error for Mixed content and CORS policy is occurring in F12 Developer tools.


  • Error reads: Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'http//bmeurg2864a.bakernet.com:6405/biprws/logon/long?....... (truncated for readability)' from origin 'https://*****' has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on requested resource


  • Accessing BI Launchpad using a 3rd party portal
