3107795 - An Application Occurs Error When Nominating Successors

An application error occurs when nominating users via the Position Card on the Succession Org Chart, Position Tile or in Presentations.

Example: "Error occurred. Please click this link to automatically search for any Knowledge Base Articles related to this error, or refresh the page and try the action again. release=bxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx"

SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development

1. Go to the Succession Org Chart.
2. Open up the Position Card.
3. Select 'Add Successor'.
4. Search for a user.
5. An application error occurs.

This may be caused due to a content blocker extension being active in your internet browser.

Some common content blockers are 'AdBlock' and 'uBlock' among many others.

If you have added the content blocker yourself you can add SuccessFactors to the list of trusted sites/allow list.

If the content blocker has been pushed to your system by your IT Department you can request that they add SuccessFacctors to the trusted sites/allowlist.
