3108203 - Receiving "Data is incomplete" error when migrating Material BOM with BOM usage 5

Symptom

Migrating Material BOM with BOM usage 5 (Sales) in Migrate Your Data app.

After simulating, an error is received for one or more records: "Data is incomplete." (Message no. 29 853)

Reproducing the Issue

  • Download Migration Object template "Material BOM"
  • Fill in the template with appropriate data
  • On sheet "BOM Item" in field "BOM Usage" give Value 5 (Relevant for Sales)
  • Upload data in Migration Cockpit

BOM Usage 5 - Reproducing the issue

Cause

Error is given because on sheet "BOM Item" in field "Indicator: item relevant to sales" value is not set to "X"

Missing X value in Indicator field

Resolution

When migrating Material BOM with BOM Usage 5 (5 is relevant to Sales), the field "Indicator: item relevant to sales" requires the value "X" filled in the template.
