3108645 - Migration of special depreciation values ends with error AAPO719 or AA657

Upon simulating migration of 'Fixed Assets - Postings', one of the following error messages appears:

• Special depreciation value is not allowed for posting - AAPO719
• You cannot manage special depreciation in area & - AA657

Either depreciation key maintained for the Fixed Assets or the Accounting principle assigned to the Company Code does not allow special depreciation.

If the Depreciation key does not allow special depreciation, changing the Depreciation key can resolve the issue.

The available Depreciation keys are listed in App 'Depreciation key - details'.

If the Accounting principle does not allow special depreciation, special depreciation cannot be migrated/posted to the Asset. Alternatively, unplanned depreciation can be used.
