3108676 - Data Lock with "Exclude selected member" doesn't work - SAP Analytics Cloud

In a Story, data lock is canceled if you add a filter dimension property and select "Exclude selected member" and valide it.

1/ Create a story with locked data through "Manage Data Locks.."

2/ Check that the data is correctly locked

3/ Add a filter for dimension and select "Exclude selected member"

4/ When you validate, you see that the locks have disapeared

The reason why data locks are disappearing is that data locking has encountered an un-supported story feature, namely the Advance Filters. You can see the warning message shown in the table header:

To show data locking information, unsupported filters need to be removed: Advanced Filters

Although the data locks are not shown in the story when such Advanced Filters are present, data locks will be validated on publish and the changes on locked slices will be rejected.

The Advanced Filter is generated by the "exclude" selection. One alternative would be to use instead a positive selection in the filter, although that might seem less straightforward.
