Introduction of Support for Country/Region Generic Object in Recruiting

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting customers now maintains country/region data in the Country/Region Generic Object. The country/region data is used in the backend processing of the two or three letter country codes in the ISO codes list. 

• If you haven't maintained the country/region data in the Country/Region Generic Object, the data is auto-populated.
• If you've maintained some or all the country/region information, we aren't going to add or update any entries. 
• Since currency is a part of the field in country/region data, this is now where the system gets the data on currency type field in job requisition, offer and application. This includes the symbol of the currency.

Note: The behavior of this feature has not changed and for the upcoming release no action is required to be done on the customer side.
