3108741 - Cannot Migrate Open Sales Order with Service Fixed Price Without Actuals and External Fulfillment

The Migration of open Sales Orders with items that have external fulfillment, such as item type Service - fixed price without actuals, is needed. However, the Supplier field and Labor Resource fields are not available. An error occurs during migration, indicating that the Labor Resource is missing.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Overview view.
3. Find and Select activity the Migration of Open Sales Orders Activity.
4. Select Migrate open sales orders using the migration tool via the hyperlink.
5. You can also > Download Migration template.

In the Migration Template the field 'Labor Resource', 'Supplier', 'Ship-From' or Fulfillment (external/internal) is not available.

The migration of items with external fulfillment is currently not supported.

A labor resource is a mandatory field only for item type 'Service fixed price without actuals' and fulfillment type 'Internal'. Since the Labor Resource field is currently not available, it is required to ensure that a service performer is maintained and that the labor resource is automatically determined via the service performer.

The possibility of migrating supplier at item level is not currently available, and therefore, the fulfillment cannot be set as external. The general idea behind migration is that all tasks have already been performed in the legacy system and there are no pending tasks.
