3109359 - NLS access issue for HCPR with ADSO partprovider

Symptom

Several functionalities relying on the NLS access cannot be utilized, such as e.g:

  • Reading NLS data via a BW Query or LISTCUBE transaction.
  • Reading NLS data via External SAP HANA view of the HCPR or issued partprovider.
  • ...

Additionally, doing a Check/Activate on a HCPR (CompositeProvider), the following warning may also be issued:

  • "Cannot read near-line storage for PartProvider <ADSO_technical_name>" RS_HCPR_MODEL101

indicating that NLS access is not possbile for this HCPR. The issued partprovider is an ADSO.
