3109795 - Negative quantity not supported in Service Contracts - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Negative quantity and negative value are expected to be inputted in the service contracts.

For example, a service contract with an item of 10 quantities and net value 10.000,00 EUR needs to be reduced to 9 quantities for the contract.

A new item with quantity -1 needs to be insert to reduce the total quantity from 10 to 9, so the net value will be adjusted to 9.000,00 EUR.

Negative quantities are not supported in the service contracts. However, negative values are supported in the service contracts.

Use negative price with positive quantity, for example:

ITEM	Quantity	Price
100	10	10.000,00
200	1	-1.000,00

If considering the standard service contract item as credit memo for the following service contract item, it is only needed to change the price to the negative value.
