3109840 - Msg 15020 when creating connection to a standby database - SAP SRS

Symptom

When attempting to create a connection to a standby database, below error is returned:

Subscription subscription_name for RDS.RDB exist in the process of being materialized or dematerialized. Must complete materialization/dematerialization process first. Then can create a standby.

check subscription subscription_name  for rep_def_name with replicate at RDS.RDB

Msg 15020, Level 12, State 0:
Server 'PDS':
subscription_name  doesn't exist.
