3109896 - Batch is not found in batch determination

Batch Determination is not returning the correct batch or no batch is proposed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

1. Call any app where a batch determination can be done
2. Run batch determination by pressing button 'batch determination'
3. Result is not showing the batch you expect

• In batch determination result screen press button 'Log....'

• In the following popup press twice the 'Expand' button

• Typically the problem is classification is not fitting.

     1. Log Entry "Does not correspond to selection criteria"

1. 1. Go to 'Manage Batches' app
   2. Click on the batch you expect to see
   3. Click in 'Change Batch' app
   4. Go to tab 'Classification' of the batch
      
      1. Classification tab show no class at all
         Assign class for the material
      2. Class is existing and also characteristics listed
         Check classification status
         
         Make sure classification status is set to 'Released' otherwise the batch cannot be found at all, see FAQ note 619911, question 7.
      3. If classification status is already released check the classification values
         Compare with selection criteria in batch determination screen
         Selection criteria can be displayed in batch determination screen by pressing button 'Selection criteria'.
