3109898 - The reversal movement type for custom movement type is not editable

The reversal movement type for custom movement type is not editable in SSCUI 103898 - Copy of Movement Type.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. From the SSCUI 103898 Copy of Movement Type .
2. Create a copy of standard movement type (e.g. 201) called Z01.
3. Create a copy of standard movement type (e.g. 202) called Z02.
4. In Reversal/follow-on movement type tab, the reversal movement type for Z01 is still standard movement type 202. It is not editable and cannot be changed to Z02.

If a movement type is copied and custom settings are defined, the corresponding reversal movement type should also be copied and configured with its own settings. SAP recommends to use configure the reversal movement type in SSCUI 104062 - Set Reversal Movement Types. In this way, inconsistencies can be avoided in a possible later reversal process.

1. From SSCUI 104062 Set Reversal Movement Types you can enter the reversal custom movement type.
2. Enter the reversal Movement Type Z02 for the movement Z01.
