3109917 - How to change the step user of workflow system jobs while keep the other technical jobs in job repository unchanged

Symptom

  • The system is S/4HANA system whose system jobs are scheduled by job repository.
  • For business reasons it is expected that certain workflow jobs are executed by users other than "DDIC" or "SAP_SYSTEM" while the step user for other jobs remain unchanged. (For example the sender of workflow notifications is expected to be changed to SAP_WFRT)
  • With SJOBREPO_STEPUSER (the same can be navigated from SJOBREPO -> button Create Stepuser to this transaction as well), the maintained user will be used for all Technical Jobs in SJOBREPO.
