3110011 - Error "You need additional permissions to comment in this model" in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC)

The admin user can add and view the data point comments successfully.

However, when a business user tries to add a data point comment in the same cell of the same story, the following error is displayed.

• You need additional permissions to comment in this model. Contact the owner of the model for permissions.

The business user cannot see the data point comments entered by the admin user either.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2021.14.17

It is a known limitation of commenting.

When there is only one filter entry[with out AND or OR] in the role level security mapped to a model, commenting is working as expected.
With complex filters, there are few known limitations. One of them is that commenting does not work. 

Do not define complex filters in the role level security mapped to a model.
