3111018 - How to check data source extensions fields in the output form

You are using data source extensions to extend your custom form template.

You create data source extensions for the following sales documents and data sources:

Sales Document	Data Source
Sales order	Sales: Sales Order Confirmation Form
Sales quotation	Sales: Sales Quotation Form

As soon as the output is generated, you click Display Document, but the value of the custom field added with data source extensions is not displayed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

This is the standard system behavior.

The value of data source extension field cannot be seen in the PDF preview mode.

In order to check if the data source extension is really working for the sales documents, you can follow the steps:

- For sales orders: on the first screen of VA02 or VA03, fill the sales order number, then select menu path More -> Sales Document -> Issue Output To... Then select Display Document.

- For sales quotations: on the first screen of VA22 or VA23, fill the sales quotation number, then select menu path More -> Sales Document -> Issue Output To... Then select Display Document.
