3111453 - Not able to manage Skills in Center of Capabilities

In Center of Capabilities, there are no options to create or manage Skills.
Are Skills supported in Center of Capabilities Framework?

Currently, Skills are not supported in Center of Capabilities Framework.

As a workaround, to use Skills in Center of Capabilities, you can configure Capabilities Libraries with skill names and descriptions by:

• manually adding in Admin Center > Manage Center of Capabilities. More information is available in the Guide Center of Capabilities > Creating a Capabilities Library Structure;
• using the MDF Import tool - which can be used to import competencies and skills from 3rd party providers. For more information, check the Guide Implementing the Metadata Framework (MDF) > Importing MDF Data.

NOTE: A product enhancement is being planned for a future release, to offer an additional capability type called "Skill", and at that time any competencies configured to represent skills will be able to be changed to skills. More information will be provided in Release Notes.
